Twisted braids

I did this one wanting to do something else, but as it frequently happens, I needed to change plans.  This one includes making two basic braids on each side of the head, secure the braids temporarily while you complete the other braid per side.  Secure the two braids on each side together.  I choose to make the braids behind each other, instead of next to each other.  When all the braids are completed and secured at the ends in pairs.  Add an elastic near the base of the head, as if you are making a half pony tail comprised of four braids.  Now, take one set of braids and put them through the other pair, then take the second and put it through the first.  Continue putting the braids in the hole between the braids until you reach your desired level of twist.  Then secure the whole kit and kaboodle together at the end.  If you want, you can add a pretty bow or ribbon.

Time: 5-10 minutes
Difficulty: easy
Hair length: Medium
