Mermaid Hair

So, this started as being Mermaid hair, however, looking back, it certainly looks more like unicorn hair.  Take a thin cross section of hair and secure with elastic.  Next take another small cross section of hair below the first, include the first pony tail and secure the second. After the elastic is on, pull a little of the first pony tail back out so it kind of puffs up.  Now continue with the third and forth in the same way until you are finished with the head area.  Add more elastics on the pony tail, roughly the same spacing, before adding each additional elastic pull a little of the outside hair to puff it a little.  If you want you could add a little padding like cotton balls or tissue  or nerf ball, get creative!

Rag Curls

Ok, I wish I could take credit for this one, but Claire's Gramma, Louise Miller, took the initiative to put in the rag curlers.  In the morning after taking out the rags, I did two half pig tails.  Claire really wanted to keep the rags in her hair, so I put them back in as bows around the elastics.

Heart Hair part 2

Now, this is an improvement on the Heart Hair from a before.  This time when you take a tiny section of heart do an inch of plain braid before commencing with a french twist, when you take your hair take it from the outside of the heart.  This is important, each tiny section you take on the back of the head is for the opposite side of the heart.  You want the braids to cross at the center of the heart.
