Hair Crown

This one is hard to see, it was before I got good at remembering to photo her hair.  This one is a french twist that circumnavigates her head.  Start at one side of her head, and work your way up and across then down and around her head till you are back where you started, or out of hair.  If you have extra length you can finish the braid and pin it next to your previous twist.  I add a few sparkly butterfly clips because it was her brothers baptism.

Easter Basket Weave

This was a fun one.  Start by making a simple pony tail, I choose a high one.  Then take several lengths of thin ribbon, this is 1/8" ribbon.  Thread one length of ribbon, it must be at least 2x-3x the diameter of the pony tail, through a dull knitting/crafting needle.  Starting from the back, beneath the pony tail, weave under and over small amounts of hair closely around the pony tail until you are back where you started.  Taking the next length of ribbon do the exact same thing, this time in opposite over and under the hair sections.  Continue weaving all the ribbon around the pony tail and then tie all the ribbon together in a cute bow, and Voila!  Not as complicated as you might think, and what is nice about this one is if she wiggles and is not sitting still, you don't have to start all over!
